Will We Know Our Pets In Heaven

A more important question is if you the reader will be in heaven.

Will we know our pets in heaven. The pets that we had to say goodbye to are alive in heaven right now in their spiritual bodies and we will see them again if we accept jesus as our savior. If our pets will be resurrected or not we just cannot say for sure. Heaven is better than we know. It is pointless to ponder the question of whether your pet goes to heaven if you yourself are not there.

Therefore it is entirely possible that because of the joy and happiness animals bring god will bring them into eternity with us. However just as many other christians do not believe that any of our pets will be crossing over to be with us. We won t know until we get there whether or not our animals will be with us in heaven but we can be assured that whether they are or not we aren t going to feel any lack or longing. Area if they believe we will see our pets in heaven.

Your pet is not gone forever. When our pets greet us in heaven they are the same ones that shared their love with us not our imagination of them. It just means that they will not be united with god in quite the same way that we are. The bible does not give a definitive answer to the question of whether we will see our pets in heaven but it does say with god all things are possible matthew 19 26 niv rather than speculate about things that are at present unknowable we can turn our thoughts toward thanking god for the tremendous gift of joy that our furry friends bring to us now.

I know how hard it is to lose a pet. All agreed that the answer to this question lies in how one interprets the scriptures. And they would be there for the same purpose that we have them here companionship. The only way to be sure is.

So there very well may be dogs and cats and other animals in heaven. During a recent public appearance pope francis comforted a boy whose dog had just died saying one day we will see our animals again in eternity. Upon examining the scriptures we just don t have biblical support to say this with certainty whether or not our pets will be in heaven however it does appear that animals will exist in the kingdom of heaven isaiah 11 6 9. Animals that had slept on our beds will sometimes continue to do that so we might be reading or watching tv and we will distinctly feel the animal jump up onto the bed and then see and feel the little paw indentations as the animal walks to its sleeping place where we will see and feel the greater indentation as the animal curls to sleep beside our feet. Animals are creations of god and therefore we should take care of them as best we can. The loving god need not resort to trickery.

I ve had the pleasure of caring for many pets throughout my life and i am grief stricken every time one of them passes away.
